Ember Room — luxury DJ booking, no compromises.

The ask

A touring open-format DJ who plays Miami, NYC, and Ibiza wanted a booking site that matched the rooms they play — gold-on-black, serif-forward, quiet confidence. No stock photos, no loud CTAs.

What we built

A dark palette with warm gold accents, an editorial serif for the hero, a booking form that separates private events from club dates, a scrolling list of recent venues, and a mix player that respects the aesthetic (no giant SoundCloud embed).

Design choices

• Playfair-inspired serif at 72px in italic — the kind of typography you see on a menu at a resort in Ibiza, not on a DJ site.
• All CTAs are pill-shaped, low-contrast. The client isn't chasing you.
• Availability quoted as "Q1 2027 — Miami · NYC · Ibiza" instead of a calendar. The site sells scarcity.

Result

First inbound quote request in 3 days. Client reports the site is now their leave-behind on every A&R meeting.
